Our High Standards
Rochester Christian School endeavors to educate children for lives of obedience to their calling in the world as image-bearers of the triune God. This call includes knowing God’s Word and His creation, consecrating the whole of human life to God, loving their fellow man, being stewards of God’s creation, and faithfully carrying out their God-given tasks. Our goal is to help prepare students from Christian families to live fully for God in a rapidly changing world, with the ability to understand, evaluate, and transform the world from the foundation of God’s unchanging values. By God’s grace we will accomplish this goal by providing a high-quality elementary and middle school education that effectively integrates Biblical truths in all areas of life with each child developing his or her abilities to their greatest potential.
Loves God
The greatest commandment begins, “Love the Lord your God.” At Rochester Christian School, we seek to foster a love for God through study of His Word and His Creation. Our goal is that our students will demonstrate their love for God as evidenced by the Fruit of the Spirit in their lives.

Loves Learning
Rochester Christian School students are taught that, no matter the subject area, God is revealing Himself through their study. Therefore, loving to learn is an extension of loving God.
Rooted in Faith
The underlying basis for all we do at Rochester Christian School is the eternal Word of God. We integrate biblical truth into every aspect of our curriculum and school life. Our students learn that all of life is to be consecrated to God as He claims ownership of our lives.
Loves People
We are called on the love others. At Rochester Christian School, our students are challenged to love and support their family, classmates, and surrounding community. We do this through fostering relationships, helping others, and serving our community.
Stewards Creation
We teach our students that God commands us to care for the world He has given us. This includes not only thoughtful use of Earth’s resources, but care for and respect of our school facility.
Heart for Service
Our students are taught to open their eyes to the needs of those around them. From whole-school service projects to individual acts of kindness and caring, Rochester Christian School students proclaim Christ by reaching out to help those in needs, preparing them for lives of service.
